Warmer Quieter Safer Buildings with Secondary Glazing
Aspect Windows have carefully selected a seconday glazing sytem to perform to our highest standards.
What is Secondary Glazing?
A fully independent frame fitted on the room side of an existing window to form a double window or 'double glazing’. The gap between the windows can vary but is normally greater when noise insulation is important. We use the Selectaglaze system which has been tried and tested for over 40 years and is in use throughout the UK.
Where is Secondary Glazing Used?
Well designed secondary glazing can be used in a huge variety of buildings including Homes, Offices, Hotels, Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Churches, Museums, Theatres and Pubs.
It is particularly applicable to listed buildings or those in conservation areas. Listed building consent must be obtained for any alteration to a listed building.
