Accounts Administration Assistant

The role:

This is a great role if you like general accounts administration with an element of finance. It involves dealing with day-to-day accounts admin such as raising customer invoices, taking payments, data entry and carrying out checks as well as financial areas such as monitoring sales and purchase ledgers, completing bank reconciliations and generally supporting the Senior Management Accountant to provide a great admin and finance service to our two companies.

There are also general admin tasks that range from organising the servicing, MOT and tax of our company vehicles and replenishing stationery stock through to ad hoc company projects where managers require administrative support.

 Our ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone with a logical, highly organised approach and an aptitude for numbers. Someone with great attention to detail, who is proactive and approachable. We are very happy to provide full training and support to the right candidate but proven administration and finance experience will be a bonus.

Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are key to success in this role along with an appreciation of how to maintain confidential information and create good processes and systems within your work.

 Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 per annum FTE, depending on skills and experience.

 Hours: Full-time hours are 42.5 hours a week but we are happy to consider applications for 37.5 hours and above, as long as these hours are worked across 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
