A period cottage built in 1880, most likely as a fisherman’s cottage. Located in the heart of the village, backing onto the estuary. This 3 bed terrace enjoys stunning views from all floors.
The homeowners were looking to replace the existing windows, with low maintenance windows, which would also compliment the age of the house. Due to the location of the cottage, the homeowners were also looking for windows which would stand up against the harsh marine environment.
Having found Aspect Window via our website, the homeowners booked a showroom appointment. Visiting the showroom allowed the homeowners to take a closer look at the options available to them, and speak with an expert about the best products to meet their requirements.
For the front of the cottage the homeowners choose double glazed casement PVCu windows which are designed to authentically replicate 19th century timber windows. Combining a traditionally elegant flush exterior and a stylish decorative interior. With bronze monkey tail handles.
To the back of the cottage sliding sash windows were chosen, again in PVCu. Providing exceptional performance whilst retaining the elegance of traditional wooden sash windows. With vertical sliding bottom and top panes.
Plus a glazed back door with integral blinds, leading out onto the court yard.
