What are the differences between the five Kobbe door ranges?

Are the doors available with a pre-anodised finish?
To ensure suitable anti-corrosion when installed in a coastal environment, our Kobbe front doors are coated in Qualicoast Seaside as standard.
Each coated element will undergo enhanced etching and have an additional base coat applied using a Class 2 Powder as a minimum.
What distance do you consider a marine environment?
We consider any property positioned within 2km of the coastline as a ‘marine environment’, in relation to our Kobbe front doors. This should be measured in a straight line from your nearest coastline to the property.
Please note, marine environment restrictions can differ between different products and suppliers.

Where do the wires come out of the door/frame for the electric locking?
The cable exits on the hinge side, which means that when viewed from the outside, it is located on the right-hand side.
The connection is made via a power supply unit, which reduces the voltage to 12V.
Different coloured cables come out of the door; however, for the Sorex or Ekey system, the Kobbe door only uses the white and brown cables, connecting them accordingly to the power supply unit.
The wiring connection diagram can be downloaded here. Access-control-fingerprint-reader-1.pdf (13 downloads ) .
