This fantastic property, named The Lowen House – meaning joyful in Cornish, has won the ‘Best Individual New Home’ at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards for the South West region. The beautiful Cornish property has gained the sought-after title; with its striking design by Pavilion Construction and David Barrow Associates enhanced by Reynaers at Home products.
The glazing installation was carried out by Aspect Windows, with Reynaers at Home products manufactured by Exeter-based VueLite.
The property is a contemporary three-bed house, built to the highest standards in an exceptional location. Every part of the build has been designed to the smallest detail and this has resulted in an elegant yet simple home.
Steve Cooling, managing director at VueLite, said: ‘Manufacturing the systems in our own factory meant we could provide precision engineered products that not only look amazing but exceeded the required performance levels. Seeing the finished build, it’s no surprise that Lowen House won!’
A total of six CP 155 lift and slide doors, one CF 77 bi-fold door and 19 Reynaers’ windows were used throughout the property. This is brought together with frames, fascias and guttering of the same colour; RAL7022 matt, chosen to complement the stonework. See our case study on the project here.
