The Ultraline slim sliding door is unmatched in terms of design, performance and security, and is now available with triple glazing for increased levels of thermal performance.
The new triple glazed slim sliding door offers a u-value of 0.7 W/m2K for those looking to reach passive house standards. While the double glazed version can achieve a u-value of 1.2 W/m2K.
The heat loss from your home is measured in u-values, the lower the u-value, the more energy efficient the glazing is. The latest building regulations specify glazed doors within new build properties require a u-value of 1.6 W/m2K or lower. Whereas replacement windows require a u-value of 1.4 W/m2K or lower.
In terms of appearance, both the triple glazed and double glazed versions look the same. With slim sight-lines of just 20 mm throughout the visible system, for minimal interruptions and a contemporary appearance. Triple glazed door panels can be specified up to 5.4m2 in size, whereas double glazed version can reach sizes of 9m2.
The Ultraline doors features a state-of-the-art electronic locking systems, helping to make it one of the most secure doors on the market. Achieving PAS24:2016 standards.
